Caroline, the co-founder and bridal fashion buyer at Evelie, is adept at curating wedding dress collections that effortlessly enhance all body types.
Netflix’s Love Is Blind UK Season 2 brought romance, drama, and some unforgettable bridal fashion moments. At Evelie Bridal, we were proud to play a central role in styling the brides. For filming, we transported over 150 gowns from our Maida Vale and South Kensington boutiques to the TV studio, temporarily closing our shops to make this possible. The brides were able to browse and select from the full collection, with final styling led by Caroline Black and the Evelie stylist team, and expert alteration support provided by Marie Martin of Reima Creations.

Sarover Kaur Aujla in Justin Alexander Signature Nirvana

Sarover wore Nirvana, a standout from Justin Alexander Signature. With its architectural bodice, fluid skirt, and luxury detailing, Nirvana embodies modern couture craftsmanship blended with timeless romance. Styled by Caroline Black and the Evelie stylists, and fitted with the expert help of Marie Martin, the gown highlighted Sarover’s grace and presence at the altar.

Sarover’s journey with the Justin Alexander Signature Nirvana gown began with her wish for a luxury A-line dress adorned with lace and 3D floral detailing. After exploring different options, she was drawn to Nirvana for its architectural bodice, fluid skirt, and intricate embellishment, which combined structure with romance. At her fitting, Marie and Caroline worked carefully to refine the fit and highlight the gown’s couture detailing, ensuring that every lace and 3D floral element enhanced the elegance of the design. The result was a gown that matched Sarover’s vision perfectly — dramatic yet timeless, and undeniably luxurious.

In the videos, Sarover is captured during her alteration fitting, walking gracefully up and down the studio to test the movement and flow of the Nirvana gown as adjustments are pinned into place. Her focus and elegance shine through as she ensures every detail is just right. Another clip shows the emotional moment she returns behind the scenes after revealing the dress to her mother and friends, their reactions filled with admiration and pride. In a further video, the Netflix production team can be seen capturing close-up shots of the gown, highlighting its intricate detailing and dramatic silhouette for the final edit. These glimpses showcase both the craftsmanship behind the dress and the significance of Sarover’s journey to the altar.

Megan chose the Joan gown from Justin Alexander Signature, a striking couture design featuring a structured silhouette and dramatic train. The gown’s balance of elegance and bold contemporary edge perfectly suited Megan’s confident style.

Our journey with Megan began with a touch of uncertainty, as she wasn’t sure whether she wanted a lace gown or something more sleek and plain. During her fitting, she explored a variety of styles before discovering how beautifully the basque waistline of the Justin Alexander Signature Joan gown flattered her figure. As Marie and Caroline worked carefully to pin and refine the dress, Megan’s hesitation transformed into delight. The moment she stood in front of the mirror, seeing the gown take shape, her expression lit up — the structured silhouette and dramatic train were everything she hadn’t realised she wanted, and Joan became the dress she truly loved.

Bardha wore the Hope gown by Justin Alexander, a design that combines timeless romance with modern sophistication. With elegant lines and a flattering silhouette, Hope reflected Bardha’s refined and graceful style.

Bardha’s journey with the Justin Alexander Hope gown began with certainty, as she was confident from the start that she wanted a fitted lace dress, making Hope the obvious choice. At her fitting, custom touches were added to make the gown uniquely hers, including bespoke lace off-the-shoulder straps that don’t come standard with the dress. The gown also featured an extended monarch-length train of over three metres, adding a dramatic flourish to her look. The excitement in Bardha’s eyes was clear as she admired the balance of intricate lace, custom detailing, and striking train that came together to create her wedding dress.

A further video shows the seamstress working intently on the gown during a fitting appointment, refining every stitch and adjustment to bring the custom details to life. Finally, the anticipation builds as Bardha waits alongside Caroline, preparing for the production team’s call before she reveals the gown to her mother and friends — a touching moment that highlights both the drama and the joy of her bridal journey.

Ashleigh’s journey with the Aire Barcelona Ibeth gown began with her wish for a fitted dress, and after trying a few different styles, she was drawn to Ibeth for its balance of structure and romance. The gown features beautifully fitted lace sleeves and a flowing silhouette, creating a look that is both elegant and feminine. At her fitting, Marie and Caroline refined the lace details and ensured the gown’s cut highlighted Ashleigh’s natural shape, resulting in a dress that captured her vision and showcased Aire Barcelona’s renowned Spanish craftsmanship.
