A wide crin edge is a decorative finish involves attaching a wide strip of crinoline fabric to the edge of the veil. To create a wide crin edge, a strip of crinoline fabric is cut to the length of the veil edge and the crinoline is then carefully pinned to the edge of the veil, aligning the raw edges of the veil and crinoline.
The crinoline fabric is sewn onto the veil using a straight stitch, ensuring that the stitch line is close to the edge of the crinoline. The raw edge of the fabric is then trimmed close to the stitch line, leaving the wide crin edge exposed.
Veils with wide crin edge are offered in three different lengths, namely medium (51 inches or 130cm), long (90 inches or 228cm), and extra long (110 inches or 280cm) but they are only available in double-tier style.
